BJP vice president Yashwant Sinha joined here today the ever increasing number of of its critics, shooting off a five-page letter to party president Rajnath Singh, resigning from all party posts and asking all office-bearers to own responsibility for its recent defeat and follow suit.

New Delhi, June 13
Rajnath Singh, BJP president, on Saturday tried without much success to put a lid on dissenting cacophonic voices in his party by threatening disciplinary action against those “sharing with the media any views or inputs outside the party forums.”

The number of Swine flu cases across the country climbed upto 17 today as the Union Health Ministry warned of a spurt in number of cases after monsoon. “They say that the H1N1 group of viruses proliferate more when the weather is slightly cooler,” Health Secretary Naresh Dayal said.
