More couples break up around V-Day than at any other time of the year, according to a new survey in Australia. The research, conducted by financial services institution Bankwest, has shown that despite the volume of chocolates and flowers delivered on Feb 14, married couples most often part ways at this time of the year. Nearly 19% in the survey estimated once a marriage was over, it cost more than 1,00,000 dollars to begin a new life, reports News.com.au.
Nithari Killings It’s gallows
for Pandher, Koli Ghaziabad, February 13
Four years after a 14-year-old girl
was raped, killed and cannibalised, affluent businessman Moninder Singh
Pandher and his domestic help Surendra Koli were on Friday sentenced to
the gallows. This was the first toll of justice for the families of the
19 children and young women from Nithari village, on the outskirts of
New Delhi, whose body parts were found in a drain.
