PTU witnesses change in work atmosphere

There is a major change in the work atmosphere of Punjab Technical University - the first one being because of the change in the location almost 15 km away from the previous site and the second because of the change of guard.

Central grant for Lyallpur Khalsa College
Jalandhar, January 15
The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has sanctioned a grant of Rs 35 lakh to the Department of Biotechnology, Lyallpur Khalsa College, for the improvement of science and technology infrastructure. Dr Arun Dev Sharma, head of the department, said his was the only department that had got such a financial support from the DST this year.
