20 more ambulances hit the road

Chief Minister Maj Gen B.C. Khanduri (retd) today flagged off 20 EMRI (Emergency Management Research Institute) Deen Dayal Upadhyay Devbhoomi 108 ambulances from Coronation Hospital taking the total number of these ambulances to 90 and achieving the target well before the scheduled date of March 9, 2009.

Homage paid to Barrister John Lang
Mussoorie, December 20
Homage was paid to John Lang on the occasion of his birth anniversary yesterday by the Press Club of Mussoorie. Members of press club visited the grave of Lang and paid homage by lighting candles on his grave. Subsequently, a short meeting was organised at the press club. The president of the club Jai Prakash Uttarakhand and the Secretary Jabar Singh addressed the members.
