New Delhi, December 12
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown is making an unscheduled visit to New Delhi to express solidarity with India in the wake of the Mumbai terror attack.

According to sources, Brown will reach here tomorrow night from Afghanistan and hold talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over a breakfast meeting on Sunday before flying out.

The Indian side is expected to share with Brown evidence suggesting the involvement of Pakistan-based terrorists in the attack on India’s financial capital, sources added.

There was no plan about Brown’s visit to New Delhi but he decided to travel here, apparently in view of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan.

Soon after the Mumbai incidents, Brown had spoken to Manmohan Singh.
