Pothole pain refuses to go away

It’s bad luck for the residents of Chhoti Baradari. The road relaying work, which was to be started by he PUDA this month, has been stalled again, forcing the residents to bear with the potholed roads for some more time. PUDA officials had reportedly even passed estimates and invited tenders for the purpose but the bid were nearly 17 per cent higher than the amount, forcing them to withdraw the deal.

The students of physiotherapy department of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, bagged top positions in the Guru Nanak Dev University examination. Roopdeep Kaur of BPT-I scored 768 marks, while Bhawanjot Kaur got 700 marks out of 1100 to bag first and fourth positions, respectively.
