Tribune News Service

India has made “serious efforts” to normalise ties with Pakistan and hopes that Islamabad would address New Delhi’s concerns about infiltration and ceasefire violations, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said today.

Observing that the new government in Pakistan “means well”, he said India was committed to resolving all outstanding issues with Islamabad through peaceful dialogue. “We are committed to resolving all outstanding issues between the two countries through peaceful dialogue.
