Double-laning to add zip to Ladowali crossing

The double-laning work has already started. All those frequently passing the railway crossing on Ladowali Road can hope for some reprieve. The long-pending demand of the residents to make it a double-lane crossing for easy entry and exit to the city via BSF Chowk is finally being met.

Hamlet comes to town

It was a memorable spectacle for the Jalandharites with the two-hour-long tragedy “Hamlet - The Prince of Denmark” being enacted at the local Desh Bhagat Yadgaar Hall here on Sunday. An attempt to revive theatre in Jalandhar, the characters managed to involve the audience and brought to fore the genius of William Shakespeare.
