Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan, at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and at isolated places in the rest of the region.The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are:
Haryana: Guhla 5, Julana, Sohna and Hissar 4 each, Gohana, Jhajjar, Faruk Nagar and Pilukhera 3 each, Delhi Ridge, Narwana, Beri, Kolayat, Sonipat, Chhachrauli, Dadri Toye and Dadupur 2 each and Dujana, Bawal, Jagdhari, Dadri, Pataudi, Ayanagar, Dhansa and New Delhi (Safdarjung) 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Nahan 6, Shimla, Rampur Bushahar and Nalagarh 4 each, Bharwin, Rohru and Kasoli 3 each, Mandi 2 and Chamba, Dhramsala, Ghamroor, Guler, Nagrotasuriyan, Nurpur, Sunnibhaji, Renuka, Kasauli and Una 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Kupwara 3 and Batote and Srinagar A.P. 1 each, Punjab: Bhatinda and Kapurthala 5 each, Patiala 4, Amritsar, Mukerian, Samrala, Gurdaspur, Pathankot and Barnala 3 each, Ropar 2 and Hoshiyarpur, Dasuya, Garhshankar, Phillour, Muktsar, Nawasahar, Ludhiana and Adampur 1 each, East Rajasthan: (4 cm and more): Mangrol 9, Khetri and Jhalawar 8 each, Kotputli, Hamirgarh and Dungla 7 each, Ramgarh and Mavli 6 each, Srimadhopur and Jhalarapatan 5 each and Pawata, Silisad, Malakhera, Kotri, Phuliyakalan, Chirwa, Asnawar, Pachpahar, Sunal and Ramganj 4 each, West Rajasthan: Bhadra, Kalayat, Pokran and Ahore 7 each, Ratangarh, Jalore, Ladnu and Makrana 6 each, Fatehgarh and Nawa 5 each, Nokh, Siwana and Jaswantpura 4 each, Churu, Padampur, Kajuwala and Jayal 3 each, Sujangarh, Vijaynagar, Bali, Desuri and Nagaur 2 each and Rainsinghnagar, Anupgarh, Jodhpur Tehsil, Bhopalgarh, Rohat, Sojat, Marwar Junction, Jetrain, Didwana and Parbatsar 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Kalpi FM and Narora 2 each and Bareilly and Jhansi 1 each and Uttarakhand: Kalagarh 2 and Joshimath and Utarkashi 1 each.
