Just a day after the Army held a flag meeting with the Pakistani counterpart to lodge their protest over the intrusion of Pak soldiers in Nowgam sector in Kupwara on July 28, the Pakistan Army fired six mortar shells on an Indian post in the same sector today.

Ishmeet was alone in pool: Witnesses
Ludhiana, July 30
“Ishmeet Singh was alone in the swimming pool of a resort in Chaaya Island, Maldives, when he drowned yesterday afternoon. “Two Indians, a 14-year-old boy and a 20-year-old girl, who were witnesses to the drowning, have told the Maldives police and Indian High Commission officials .
The body of Ishmeet Singh being taken to the Dayanand Medical College mortuary in Ludhiana on Wednesday night. The body reached Ludhiana from Delhi by a special chopper provided by the Punjab government. The cremation will take place on Thursday.
