Poor occupancy forces Pak to ply mini-bus

After the flag-off of the Amritsar-Nankana Sahib bus service by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh two years ago (March 24, 2006), the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) has started plying a 20-seater luxury mini-bus because the service, it seems, did not get as many passengers as was initially expected.

Crash course completed
Amritsar, May 20
Crash Course-2008, started with a motive to help economically backward students, concluded here at BGSUS Senior Secondary School Khadur Sahib, Tarn Taran. The course was started by Gyan Sewa Trust, New Delhi, and was being run under the supervision of HS Phoolka, a renowned senior advocate of the Supreme Court, with the support of Baba Sewa Singh Kaar Sewa Khadur Sahib.
