Moves to quash inflation

CRR up by 25 basis points, key rates stay Mumbai, April 29 The Reserve Bank of India today announced a hike in the Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) of banks by another 25 basis points. The new CRR, which comes into effect from May 24, will amount to 8.25 per cent.
