injured in firing near PM office New Delhi, March 28
The high-security area near the
Prime Minister’s Office here witnessed some tense moments today as a
Delhi policeman was shot at and injured allegedly by a colleague. The
incident took place around 11 am when head constable Sanjay Kumar
received a gunshot wound in his left thigh.

former Chief Minister and INLD supremo Om Prakash Chautala for
misleading the House on loan waiver figures. It is for the first time in
living memory that the House has censured one of its members.

During the week ended March 15, 2008, inflation touched 6.68 per cent, compared to 5.92 per cent a week ago. The rate was 6.56 per cent during the corresponding period last year.
