Love surely is eternal, just the way it is in this couple’s life. A 101-year-old man is getting set to marry his long time girlfriend after dating her for more than 50 years. Italian Giuseppe Rebaudi, a retired gynaecologist, is getting ready to exchange wedding vows with 98-year-old French girlfriend Silvie Basain next month.

“We just need to get a certificate from the French embassy that I have not been married before and am single,” Ananova quoted Basain, as saying. However, she said her only worry was that they might be rushing things.

“We have only been together for 50 years — that may be a bit quick but then again you are only young once,” she added. — ANI
