FM staffer assaulted

Radio jockey Nikhil of 93.4 FM was attacked by three motorcycle-borne assailants near DAV School in the Shastri Nagar area on Thursday. Nikhil was on his way to the office. He was hit on the head with a bottle.

Municipal corporation staff today paid tributes to Amritsar (South) MLA Raminder Singh Bularia, who breathed his last in a hospital in USA yesterday. Mayor Shwet Malik said Bularia had been the senior deputy mayor of the corporation and was quite popular.
