Security up at Big B’s bungalows
Mumbai, February 4
Even as the police registered an FIR against Raj Thakeray, security has been tightened outside the two bungalows owned by actor Amitabh Bachchan in Mumbai and the police booked 23 persons, allegedly belonging to the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) for rioting and later released them on bail.

Moga Sex Scandal
Punjab moves SC against CBI probe

The Punjab government today moved the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of an order of the Punjab and Haryana High Court to hand over the probe into the Moga sex scandal case to the CBI in which some councillors, local leaders and a journalist were accused, among others.

Sania opts out of India
Hyderabad, February 4
Battling controversies ranging from her on-court attire to off-court appearances, tennis star Sania Mirza today pulled out of the WTA Bangalore Open, scheduled to be held from March 3 to 9. "Every time I have played in India, there has been some kind of problem. So, I just thought it was better not to play this time," Sania told reporters here.

Shimla-Kalka train derails, man killed
Shimla, February 4
One person was crushed to death under the Shimla-Kalka Shiwalikview train, which got derailed inside the 103 tunnel in an attempt to save a passer-by. The mishap took place at 6.10 pm near 103 tunnel after the train left the Shimla Railway Station.

10 killed in suicide attack in Rawalpindi
