CBI submits report to HC
Tribune News Service

Kolkata, January 8
The CBI inquiring into the mysterious death of computer graphic designer Rizwanur Rahman today submitted its report to the Calcutta High Court.

The sealed report would be opened in the court on January 11, when the court would deliver its judgment.

According to official sources, the CBI concluded that Rizwanur had committed suicide due to frustration but Rizwanur’s mother, Kiswar Jahan, family members and well-wishers believed that Priyanka’s family had murdered him.

The Rizwanur family has demanded action against Ashoke Todi, his brother Pradip and others, including former police chief Prasun Mukhkerjee and two senior IPS officers Yaswant Singh and Ajoy Kumar, who were implicated in the murder case.
