The Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions in Australia today announced a review of all material relating to the case against Indian doctor Mohamed Haneef, charged with recklessly supporting a terrorist group.

Chahal files plea in HC

B.I.S Chahal has moved the High Court through an application written from Patiala jail. The application has been listed for hearing tomorrow. Sources said in all likelihood, Chahal had sought his transfer from Patiala to Ambala jail though they refused to comment as to whether transfer of cases to CBI has been sought or not. In fact, Justice Uma Nath Singh had yesterday directed that Chahal was at liberty to file an application seeking transfer of his cases to CBI or his shifting from Patiala to Ambala jail. — TNS
