IOC facility hit in Tiger air raid

At least two light wing aircraft of Tamil Tiger rebels carried out pre-dawn air attacks in and around Colombo, targeting two oil storage facilities, including one jointly owned by the Indian Oil Corporation and the Sri Lankan government.

4 killed, 16 hurt in fresh Nandigram clashes

Nandigram flared up yet again today after a gun battle broke out between workers of the CPM and the Trinamool Congress-led Krishi Bachaoo Committee. At least four persons were killed and over 16 others injured in the incident.
