Vigilance officials investigating the City Centre scam have stumbled upon another scandal in the Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) where money power allegedly decided the key transfers and postings within the trust.

Vigilance Bureau sleuths examined the records of visitors at Park Plaza hotel late this evening on the statement of arrested accused Manmohan Singh that the officials of Today Homes and Infrastructure Company Pvt Ltd had paid bribe to him and other accused in a room of the hotel for favours in the City Centre project.
