Captain encouraging terrorists: Bitta
Tribune News Service

Phagwara, April 12
All-India Anti-Terrorist Front president Maninderjit Singh Bitta has levelled serious allegations on former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh of encouraging terrorists.

Bitta also alleged that Captain wanted to start a series of political murders by eliminating his political rivals, including him (Bitta), Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, PPCC president Shamsher Singh Dullo, former MP Iqbal Singh, Jagmit Singh Brar and Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and his son Sukhbir Singh Badal. Addressing a press conference at Phagwara Rest House today, Bitta alleged that few IPS officers of Punjab police had also joined hands with Captain in this deep-rooted conspiracy. “The consignment of 11 kg RDX out of total 70 kg seized in Jalandhar was to be used for this purpose, while 59 kg RDX was still to be recovered,” said Bitta.

He openly said that both Captain Amarinder Singh and his wife Parneet Kaur should be considered responsible, if he (Bitta) may be killed in coming days.

Reiterating his allegations about the alleged relations of Captain Amarinder Singh with Pakistani journalist Arusa, Bitta alleged that she was the daughter of General Rani, and moreover, Arusa was an ISI agent and was trained by Pakistani army.

Bitta further alleged that Arusa had purchased a house of Rs 9 crore in Islamabad recently and Captain provided the money. He alleged that Captain went to Rajasthan along with Arusa for a holiday from December 29 to January 3,which was a crucial time for the preparations of the assembly elections. “Perhaps Captain had nothing to do with the elections at the cost of his luxurious life,” he added.

AIATF president Bitta urged the Union Government to set up a high-level Special Investigating Team, to investigate the anti-nation working of Captain Amarinder Singh in which able officers from security forces of five states besides Centre, should be included. “The SIT should be instructed to submit its detailed report in a time frame of one month”.

He alleged that Palace of Maharaja was being misused by Captain to provide shelter to various terrorists, including Daya Singh Lahoria, Davinderpal Singh Bhullar, Daljit Singh Bittu, Harneik Singh and Jagtar Singh Hawara.

Bitta also alleged that Captain Amarinder Singh had hatched a conspiracy to murder a Hindu Congress leader to get sympathy votes of Hindus for the Congress and former Education Minister Harnam Dass Johar was selected for sacrifice. He also alleged that Captain made a deal with an IPS officer to eliminate Rajinder Kaur Bhattal. Bitta also demanded a high level transparent enquiry about the working of few police officers and BIS Chahal working on the behest of Captain.

Bitta offered to Captain Amarinder Singh to come on any public platform, including any TV channel for open debate on his allegations and also offered that he (Bitta) may be shot at Matka Chowk in Chandigarh, if he could not be able to prove his allegations.

Bitta predicted his apprehensions about coming black days in Punjab if activities of Captain could not be curbed timely.

Bitta said only Captain Amarinder Singh and his dictatorial policies were responsible for the return of SAD-BJP government in power.

He also alleged that Captain Amarinder Singh went on promoting various Akali factions only for his own political gains.
