Mulayam moves SC in assets case
New Delhi, March 12
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today moved the Supreme Court for modification of its order on the CBI probe into his assets and instead sought a judicial inquiry alleging that the petition against him had been filed on behalf of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and CBI, under the UPA coalition, was not functioning “independently”.
