A day after a special court in Ropar framed charges against Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in a disproportionate assets case, he ruled out any possibility of his resignation over the issue.

The Beas police has booked Congress candidate Jasbir Singh Dimpa and his 15 supporters on the charges of attempt to murder, rioting with armed weapons and trespassing at Doullen Nangal village, a day before the Assembly election, scheduled for March 11.
