Giving clean chit to Local Bodies Minister Jagjit Singh in the Ludhiana City Centre scam, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said there was no need for the minister to resign.

Talking to mediapersons soon after a public rally at Nadala today, the Chief minister said neither Mr Jagjit Singh would resign from his post nor he would ask him to do so.

Prominent among others who spoke on the occasion included PPCC chief Shamsher Singh Dullo, PWD and Education Minister Partap Singh Bajwa, Local Government Minister Jagjit Singh, chairperson, All-India Safai Karamchari Commission, Santosh Chaudhary and DCC chief Sukhpal Singh Khaira.
