A policeman was injured in an attack leading to the escape of an arrested militant of the Hizbul Mujahideen from the court premises at Pulwama today.
Five militants were among six killed in separate incidents in the Kashmir valley since yesterday.
The militant, Altaf Ahmad Malik, alias Pintoo, had allegedly been involved in the killing of IRCON railway engineer Sudhir Pandey and his brother at Pulwama.
