Advani flays temple demolition in Lahore

New Delhi, June 14
Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior BJP leader L K Advani today condemned the demolition of Krishna Mandir to make the way for a commercial building at Lahore.

In a statement here, Mr Advani recalled that Islamabad had last year asked him to inaugurate an ancient temple of Katasraj and quoted Pakistani newspaper ''Dawn'', saying that even a daily had lamented in its headline, “Another temple is no more”, severely criticising the authorities for allowing the demolition.
