The owner of a detective agency in South Delhi was arrested in connection with the alleged phone tapping of Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh.
Bhupendra, running the agency in South Extension-I, was nabbed last night. He had allegedly been tapping the phones of Mr Amar Singh for the past over two months at the behest of some person believed to be using the name of the police.
Special Cell of the Delhi Police had registered a case of forgery, cheating, criminal conspiracy and some sections of the Indian Telegraph Act in connection with the allegations made by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav about tapping of phones of Amar Singh and other SP leaders.
