Sensex touches 9,400-point mark

Mumbai, December 19
Sensex today crossed new heights breaching the 9,400-point mark in intra-day trade. Fuelled by sustained buying by FIIs and domestic funds, Sensex touched 9,402 points in intra-day trades before closing at 9,394 gaining more than 109 points.

Today’s gainers included scrips in the aluminium, auto ancillaries, banks, cement, engineering, FMCG, technology, sugar and oil PSUs. — TNS
