Centre, Hurriyat agree to end all forms of violence
New Delhi, September 5
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told a delegation of of the All- Party Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq that conditions will be created for reduction of armed forces from Jammu and Kashmir if there is a cessation of violence and an end to infiltration.

Hooda orders CBI probe
Compensation for Gohana victims hiked to Rs 1 lakh
New Delhi, September 5
Succumbing to mounting pressures, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today ordered a CBI probe into the attacks on Dalits in Gohana and enhanced the compensation to the victims to Rs 1 lakh.
