BSF, Bangladesh Rifles agree on ceasefire

Indian and Bangladeshi border guards today agreed to observe a ceasefire in the Adampur and Muchia areas along the Indo-Bangla border in West Bengal’s Malda district after exchanging fire for the last two days, injuring two persons.

Terrorists and jehadi groups, armed and trained in Pakistan-run camps and madarsas, have been operating for several years in Jammu and Kashmir, the only Muslim majority state in India. And yet, for all the troubles in this border state, there is not a single madarsa in Jammu and Kashmir.

Khurana still to receive notice
New Delhi, August 21
A day after he was suspended from the party for “gross indiscipline”, senior BJP leader Madan Lal Khurana today said he had received no show-cause notice so far but asserted that he would chalk out his action plan in a couple of days after consulting some leaders in the party and the Sangh.
