Cabinet clears ATR on Nanavati report

New Delhi, August 4
The report of the Nanavati Commission, which inquired into the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, is likely to be placed in Parliament on Monday along with the action taken report (ATR) with the Cabinet today clearing the ATR. “The ATR on the Commission of Inquiry presided over by G.T. Nanavati has been cleared by the Cabinet,’’ Information and Broadcasting Minister S. Jaipal Reddy said after the Cabinet meeting. — UNI
