Air-India plane makes emergency landing

New Delhi, July 31
An Air-India plane carrying 315 passengers from Mumbai to London made an emergency landing at the Delhi airport tonight after the pilot noticed a technical fault. Director, Delhi Airport, B.K. Arora, told UNI that the plane landed safely at 11.40 pm.

The pilot had noticed a snag in the flap drive located under the wings of Boeing 747-400 while it was flying over Karachi after which he decided to turn back, Mr Arora said. The flight will take off for London after engineers check the aircraft. — UNI
