RSS targets Advani New Delhi, July 9 The RSS said its provincial organisers, who had a close-door meeting in Surat recently, had “taken serious note of this and our elders will soon talk to the persons concerned and convey the Sangh’s reservations.” “They (RSS provincial organisers) expressed serious concerns over the ideological erosion, behavioural misdemeanor and violation of organisational discipline with impunity by some functionaries of a couple of like-minded organisations, the statement remarkable for its candour said. The statement, issued by RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav, noted the “several imaginary stories” in the media about the Surat meet. The Sangh Pranth Pracharaks are also understood to have taken strong exception to the “tone and tenor” of the language used by people like former BJP national secretary Sudheendra Kulkarni as also VHP leader Praveen Togadia. The BJP did not officially react to the RSS statement. |
