PM rules out Pak hand in Ayodhya
London, July 6
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today made two major announcements: that there was no evidence yet of the involvement of Pakistan as a nation state in yesterday’s terrorist attack in Ayodhya and that there was no question of Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil resigning for the so-called intelligence-failure.

Sixth person killed was local resident
Ayodhya, July 6
One of the six persons killed in the blast was identified on Wednesday evening as Ramesh Pandey, a junior priest cum guide, living in Katara, next to the Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex.

A high alert was sounded in many parts of the state as private and public property worth crores of rupees was destroyed and three more power projects were shut down as widespread heavy rains continued to wreak havoc for the second consecutive day today.
