Hawara’s remand extended

New Delhi, June 25
The Punjab Police will have to wait for some more time to get the custody of Jagtar Singh Hawara, chief of the Pak-based Babbar Khalsa militant outfit (Indian operations), with a city court today granting three more days for the special cell of the Delhi Police to interrogate him in connection with cinema blasts.

The court also posted for hearing on June 28 the application filed by the Chandigarh and the Punjab Police seeking Hawara’s custody.
