wreaks havoc 15 killed in
Sirsa-Bathinda-Abohar belt Chandigarh, June
10
As many as 15 persons
were feared killed when a high velocity storm struck the
Bathinda belt bordering Haryana and Rajasthan last night
uprooting trees, bringing down electricity and telephone
poles and damaging Bathinda distributary, several canals
and minors in the area.

Two persons were killed when
railway protection force (RPF) personnel opened fire to quell a mob that
set afire Dadri railway station in Gautam Buddha Nagar district in Uttar
Pradesh this morning.
Policemen and others run for cover as buses and vehicles are set ablaze outside the Dadri railway station in UP on Friday.
Centre
to aid J&K in developing tourism: PM Leh, June 10
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today
assured the people of Jammu and Kashmir that the Centre would make
all-out efforts for the development of the state, including development
of infrastructure and promotion of tourism.
