BJP board rejects Advani’s resignation VHP firm on replacement New Delhi, June 8 The BJP Parliamentary Board and Central Office-Bearers “unequivocally” rejected the resignation of party president L.K. Advani here today. After the meeting, top party leaders, led by Mr M. Venkaiah Naidu, met him and made a renewed appeal to reconsider his decision.

arrested Jagtar Singh Hawara, chief of the Babbar Khalsa
International in India and an accused in the assassination of
former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh, along with two other
militants in connection with the May 22 twin blasts in cinema
halls here.
