PM arrives in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, April 13
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived in Chandigarh on Wednesday after inaugurating the 52-kilometer Jammu-Udhampur link at Udhampur. He was given a warm welcome by Punjab Governor General (retd) S. F. Rodrigues, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Congress General Secretary Ambika Soni on his arrival at the Raj Bhavan.

The following is the PM's schedule  for Wednesday:

Between 2.30 p.m. and 3.45 p.m: Punjab Governor, Punjab and Haryana Chief Ministers to meet him.

Between 3.55 p.m. and 5.30 p.m: To attend two functions at the PGI.

Between 5.40 and 6.30 p.m: To meet different delegations at the Raj Bhavan.

Between 6.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m: To meet the Press.

7.10 p.m: To leave Chandigarh for New Delhi.
