Four die after consuming hooch

Kaithal, February 7
Four persons allegedly died here today after consuming hooch and two others were admitted to the local Civil Hospital.

According to information, four persons, who used to do painting and white washing work, consumed hooch procured by one of them. Soon their condition deteriorated. Rakesh (25) and Panna Lal (25), both residents of Azamgarh, Rakesh (30)and Inderjit (35)of Faizabad, died on the spot whereas Ram Preet (45)and Ashish(25), both residents of Azamgarh, were admitted to the Civil Hospital in serious condition. But before the police could get wind of this tragedy Rakesh and Inderjit were secretly cremated by their friends and relatives this morning. A case has been registered.
