Mamata’s no to berth in Cabinet

Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee has refused to accept Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s offer to join the Union Cabinet. 

Talking to mediapersons today, Ms Banerjee said since the Congress(l) was “hobnobbing “ with the CPM in running the government at the Centre, it was not possible for her to join the Cabinet at this stage. She, however, expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the offer.
