14 killed as buses collide in Punjab

Chandigarh, January 3
Fourteen persons were killed and 20 injured in a head-on collision between two buses near Khumano in Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab this morning, according to the police.

Most of those who died were girls working in a private factory. The injured were taken to hospitals at Morinda and Bassi Pathana, Fatehgarh Sahib SSP Varinder Kumar told UNI on phone.

The police and civil officials have reached the spot. — UNI
