Blast in shopping complex

Amritsar, November 14
A massive explosion took place in the Nehru shopping complex here today. The blast was so powerful that its sound could be heard in distant areas of the city. However, no injury has been reported.

Glass panes of the complex were scattered on the main road, which resulted in the blockade of traffic.

The DIG said it seemed as somebody had tried to create panic. As the explosion had occurred on the third floor where no shop had been sold. — OC
