PMT paper leak: warrant against Sachdeva

New Delhi, April 28
A Delhi court today issued a non-bailable warrant against Sachdeva New P T College owner Sudhir Sachdeva who has been evading arrest after his name figured in the sensational CBSE-PMT paper leak case.

Earlier, the crime branch had approached a Delhi court for a warrant against Sudhir Sachdeva for his alleged role in the question paper leak. The crime branch said since Sudhir had failed to respond to notices seeking his cooperation in the investigation, it had to approach the court for a warrant against him.

“As per information provided by Hemant Sharma, Sudhir was present when the deal was struck between N.K. Thaplu, manager of Sachdeva College. Sudhir had struck a deal with Sharma for providing the question paper for the All-India Pre-Medical Test.”

Hemant was arrested on April 23 following disclosures by prime accused Ranjit Verma.

Hemant had fixed a deal with N.K. Thaplu and Sudhir Sachdeva for Rs 12 lakh, of which Rs 3.25 lakh was given as advance.

Meanwhile, sleuths said no new developments had come up with regard to Parimal Thakur, who had been taken to Maharashtra for verification of facts and revelations made by the accused in connection with the leak and selling of the PMT paper.
