Grenade attack at Mehbooba’s rally
Mehbooba Mufti Three killed, cameraman among 7 injured
Srinagar, April 25
In escalating attacks in the midst of Lok Sabha elections, militants today hurled a grenade at a PDP election rally minutes after party chief Mehbooba Mufti left the venue, killing three persons and injuring seven in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The three Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, who had arrived here yesterday for discussion over Judges’ unprecedented action in going on mass leave, today held a meeting with the Chief Justice of India (CJI), Mr Justice V.N. Khare, and the CJI designate, Mr Justice S. Rajendra Babu, in their efforts to defuse the crisis.
