Jammu, February 13
The Jammu and Kashmir border police has arrested nine persons suspected of being involved in the escape of three accused in the Beant Singh assassination case from Burail jail, official sources said here today.
On specific information, special teams of the border police conducted raids on different places in the border areas of the Jammu-Kathua sector last night and rounded up the suspects.
Without naming those arrested, the sources said a special team of the Punjab police was expected to interrogate the suspects.
