Ceiling on FDI in petroleum, banking sectors up
New Delhi, January 15
The Centre today took a host of politically sensitive economic decisions aimed at taking the national economy from protectionist mould to liberal mode. The Union Cabinet decided to substantially raise the existing foreign direct investment ceilings in petroleum and banking sectors.

Terror camps in PoK yet to wind up,
says Army chief
New Delhi, January 15
The Chief of Army Staff, General N.C. Vij today said the terrorist camps in Pakistan occupied Kashmir were yet to be wound up and asserted that the work on fencing along the Line of Control to control infiltration would go on at full pace.
