Beijing, January 11
National Security Adviser Brajesh Mishra arrived here today for the second round of political talks aimed at clinching an early solution to the boundary dispute between the two countries.

Mishra, who is the Special Representative of India at the two-day talks, would hold parleys with his Chinese counterpart Dai Bingguo, who is also Executive Vice-Foreign Minister.

Mishra is expected to call on senior Chinese leaders during his stay here and exchange views on bilateral ties as well as other issues of common interest.

The first round of talks between Mishra and Dai was held in New Delhi on October 23 and 24 which has been described by both sides as “constructive.” — PTI
