Three-month-old raped

A three-month-old baby raped by a youth to avenge his alleged insult by her parents, is battling for life at a hospital here.

Doctors attending on the victim, raped on December 15, today described her condition as ‘rectro-vaginal-fistual’ wherein her urinal passage and rectum have ruptured. The treatment plan worked out by doctors at the King George Medical University is prolonged and likely to take more than a year, including repair of the genitals through plastic surgery. 

The police has arrested the accused, Kailash (25), from Lakhimpur Kheri district where the crime was committed. — UNI
