New Delhi, October 24
India and China today had another round of delegation-level talks on the border issue in a “cordial, constructive and cooperative” manner and agreed to meet again at mutually acceptable dates in Beijing, a foreign office spokesman said.
Delegations from the two sides were led by specially-appointed special representative — Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary and National Security Adviser, Mr Brajesh Mishra — and the visiting Chinese Vice-Foreign Minister, Dai Binggou.
Dai also called on Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha, but no details of the two meetings were available.
