Elections to the Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Assemblies will be held on December 1, while Mizoram will go to the polls on November 20, the Election Commission announced today.

A year after film actor Salman Khan rammed his vehicle into a suburban bakery, killing one person and injuring four, a local court today framed 10 charges against him even as the actor pleaded not guilty.

The Home Ministry has named a Samajwadi Party MP in a report on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s activities in Mumbai. According to NDTV Abu Azmi, the party’s Maharashtra unit chief, is linked to the Karachi-based don.
